What is the process for ordering items with a school purchase order?

You can actually order online (www.gamefaces.com), by e-mail (sales@gamefaces.com),
or by phone (1-800-627-4003) with your school PO.  Whichever way is easier for you.

If you order online, at checkout you can choose PO for your payment option and enter the PO number.  If your
school or organization requires a purchase order number, then we would require it, also.  If your school does
not usually use purchase orders, then we do not require it.  You can type in "none" in for the number.

How do I know your tattoos are safe?

Our temporary tattoos have been tested by the United States Testing Company, Inc. for flammability,
toxicology (eye and skin irritation), and chemical analysis.  These tests resulted in zero irritation.  Our
temporary tattoos are in compliance with all applicable government standards for consumer products;
they are considered cosmetics for testing purposes.

Although our temporary tattoos have tested safe for eye and skin irritability,
we recommend that the tattoos should not be used near the eyes or on sensitive skin. 
They should be removed only with rubbing alcohol or cellophane tape,
and should NEVER be rubbed or scratched off, as this will irritate the skin underneath the transfer. 

It may reassure you to know that we have applied our tattoos to children in hospitals
in Akron, Columbus and Dayton, Ohio, to help cheer them up. 
We have also had hospitals place custom orders for our temporary tattoos.

How do you remove the traditional (non-press-on version) tattoos?

DO NOT rub, scrub, or scratch the tattoo off, as this may damage your skin!
To remove, press tape over the tattoo, then peel away.  Tattoos also dissolve with
baby oil or rubbing alcohol. Some make-up removers (e.g., Mary Kay) and
baby wipes (e.g. Huggies) can remove any adhesive residue, as well.

If you are selling them as a fundraiser or applying them to customers,
YOU MUST make sure your customers understand how to remove them. 
When we ship your order, we include a sheet of instructions that you can copy
and hand out to your customers.  Or, simply give the customer the paper backing
from the tattoo application; the removal instructions are printed there as well.

How is your quality better than other temporary tattoos?

We use a unique process to make our temporary tattoos: silk screening. 
This gives the tattoo bright, vibrant colors that last for days. 
They also apply easier, without ripping or shredding. 
Once you apply them, they are waterproof.
They will not run in the rain or wash off in the shower.

How are the traditional (non-press-on version) temporary tattoos applied?

The tattoos come on a small sheet of paper with a thin cover sheet on top. 
Cut out one tattoo and peel off the cover sheet.  Place the tattoo face down on
clean, dry skin (make-up may prevent the tattoo from adhering to the skin properly). 
Take a wet cloth or paper towel and press it against the paper backing of the
tattoo for 20 seconds, or until the paper is thoroughly soaked. 
Carefully peel the paper away, and use the wet cloth to smooth down
the edges of the tattoo against the skin.

How long will the traditional (non-press-on version) tattoos last?

Our tattoos will last from 1 to 5 days before they show excessive wear. 
They can be removed by pressing tape on top of them and peeling the tattoo away,
or use rubbing alcohol to dissolve the tattoo.

Do the tattoos wash off with soap and water?

NO!! They are waterproof!  Please do not try to wash the tattoos off with soap and water.

What are the Press-On Waterless Game Faces Temporary Tattoos?

The Press-On Game Faces are the latest technology in temporary tattoos,
and the high quality you expect from Game Faces® temporary tattoos. 
Printed on clear, hypoallergenic medical tape,
Press-On Game Faces are safe, simple to use and comfortable to wear. 
Just peel the Game Face from the sheet and press it where you want it.
To remove, just peel off.  It's that easy!

The letter "W" will appear before the code for our press-on version. 
Not all of our designs are produced this way, but we continue to add additional ones.

How large are the tattoos?

It depends on what category of tattoos you are looking at. 
Click on the picture you are interested in; on the
View Details page, you will see a title over the picture of the tattoo. If it says:

Temporary Tattoos: They are each about 1-¼ inches in diameter.
Spirit Strips:  They are each about 2 inches wide
Holiday Theme:  there are four tattoos on a sheet, and they are each about
1-¼ inches in diameter
Spirit Accents:  there are 16 mini tattoos on a sheet, and they are each about
¼ inch in diameter.  Two are slightly larger to accomodate the thumb.
Game Bands: They are each about ¾ inch high and 4-¾ inches wide.

Can I get the tattoos in a different color?

Many of our designs come in different colors.  Usually, if a color is typed at the bottom
of the tattoo picture (e.g. H-07-2 Blue) then there is more than one color available. 
Try entering the design description as a word search, and you should get all the
different colors and styles available.  Some designs come in ten different color alternatives,
some have just a couple alternatives, and some come only in one color scheme.

Can I mix and match the tattoos I want?

Yes, you can mix designs to get to a quantity discount. 
We ask that you order in lots of 10 per design, but we will give you whatever quantities you need.

Can you mix designs on the same sheet?

No, the designs on a sheet only come as shown.

Do I have to order 25 sheets per design of tattoos?

No, you can buy whatever quantities you need of any item. 
We do pre-package our tattoos in bags of 25 sheets, so if you can order a multiple of 25,
it will speed processing.  If you need less than 25, we will be happy to open up a bag
and take whatever is needed to fill your order.

Can we get a tattoo of our school logo?

YES! We now offer CUSTOM TRADITIONAL TATTOOS. You and/or your school can now order custom tattoos through Team Dynamics. Just email your design to beth@gamefaces.com to get your order started!

Minimum Order Quanity: 1,000 pieces* @ $.42/apiece

Quantities below 1,000 will be $1.00/apiece, and cannot go below the absolute minimum of 200 tattoos.

Do you have any more letter tattoos?

The only letter tattoos we have as stock items are C, B, H, L, M, N, P, R, S, and W. 
These letters are available in several colors.

If you would like to order your own letter tattoo it will be considered a custom design and will take 7-10 business days to manufacture and ship.

What are the most popular designs?

With each new year, we are adding more designs to meet our customer's requests. 
The paw prints, in a variety of designs, continue to be popular tattoos
since they meet the needs of many different mascots. 
The flaming football, basketball, soccer, baseball/softball,
and volleyball are very popular, as well as team color stars,
megaphones, and team color slogans.

Our new items, War Paint & Spirit Strips, are big sellers too!

Do I order by number of sheets or number of temporary tattoos?

Order by number of temporary tattoos.

How long does it take to ship my order after it's received?

We ship in-stock items within one business day of receiving your order. 
Delivery time for in-stock items will depend on the method chosen
(ground, second day air or overnight) and your distance from Alabama. 
You cannot count the shipping day in the transit time. 

All other items are shipped from a variety of Vendors located across the United States.

How do you ship my order?

We ship via United Parcel Services (UPS).  In stock items are shipped from Alabama. 
Delivery time will depend on the method of shipping chosen
(ground, second day air or overnight) and your distance from Alabama. 
Non-stock items are shipped from a variety of locations throughout the United States

How long does it take to receive my order for in stock items?

If you ask for standard shipping, you should receive your order within
1-5 business days, depending on how far away you are from Alabama. 
Rush delivery is also available for an additional charge; 
just check the appropriate box when you place your order online

Can we get our tattoos overnight?

Yes, we can ship stock items for next-day delivery if you place your order
before noon Eastern time (Monday-Friday). 
Friday Overnight will be delivered on Monday.  There is no Saturday delivery

For Temporary Tattoos only:  Next Day: add $35.00 to the regular shipping charge.
Second Day: add $25.00 to regular shipping charge. 

For Non-Tattoo Items:  Next Day: add $35.00 plus $6.00 per lb. to regular shipping charge. 
Second Day:  add $25.00, plus $4.00 per lb. to regular shipping charge.

What is the minimum order?

Our minimum order is $15.00, not including shipping and handling or tax. 
Tax is only charged to Alabama residents using a personal credit card.

Is there tax on my order?

Only if you are an Alabama Resident paying with a personal credit card.
10% tax will be added to your order
You do not need to add tax if you are re-selling our products in a retail store or as a
school fundraiser.  (Using a school credit card or purchase order).

I am using the temporary tattoos as a fundraiser. How much should I sell them for?

Most people sell our temporary tattoos within the following price range.
You should sell them for whatever you feel comfortable within your community. 

Temporary Tattoos:   50¢ - $1.00
Game Bands:  $1.00 - $2.00 per tattoo
Spirit Accents: 15¢ - 25¢ per tattoo OR 50¢ - $1.00 for a strip of four tattoos

Do you ship outside the United States?

We accept orders from Canadian, APO and FPO addresses for in stock items only.

Orders for in stock items will be shipped PRIORITY MAIL and
Rush Shipping is not available for APO and FPO addresses. 

This shipment can take from 10 days to 3 weeks depending on your location.  
Canadian addresses can take as long as 3 weeks depending on your transit time
from Alabama and customs.  If you are shipping to Canada and need expedited shipping,
please call Customer Service (800-627-4003)  for options and costs for this service. 

We are not set up to ship to any other countries.

Do you have any other spirit supplies besides tattoos?

How long have you been in business?

In 1983 our founder and president, Dan Waller, dreamed up the original temporary
sports tattoo.  He began designing and marketing Team Tattoos (now Game Faces)
and found that sports fans at all school levels loved them.  Dan Waller insisted on
the highest quality temporary tattoos with bright, vibrant colors, and we maintain
that high standard.  Today, we are not the only supplier of temporary sports tattoos,
but we were the first and we guarantee the highest quality and the fastest
turnaround time, with reasonable prices and low shipping costs

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We do not accept American Express.

What is your return policy?

Due to the custom nature of many of our products, we cannot accept returns on any customized item. 

We will accept returns of undamaged, noncustom product suitable for resale within 30 days of shipment.
A 15% restocking fee will be assessed and any shipping incurred will not be refunded.
Before returning any product, you must contact our Customer Service Team
for a Return Authorization Number.


If you receive defective merchandise, we will replace it or refund your payment.
Please notify us of any defects within 10 days of receiving your shipment.
